Resumo:

Cultural aspects are important when considering educational software because the interface signs may have multiple interpretations in face of cultural diversity of the students and teachers who use it. This is because the school is a multicultural environment, due to the characteristic of bringing together different cultures heterogeneously (Banks; Banks, 2010; Hall, 2000). This characteristic influences the interaction with educational technologies, especially with educational software. It was noted that this network's interaction mechanisms need to be reviewed for effective adaptation of pedagogical needs, the multicultural reality of school environments and interaction quality. When dealing with interaction design, we should be aware of the context in which systems are used. This is because the context can influence the interaction: people are embedded in a particular culture, society and organization which can vary among them, and in their interaction with the system. In fact, culture is important and makes a difference when dealing with educational software. This Project aims to concept a new semio-participatory method of interaction (re) design based on Semiotic Engineering, and research strategies for applying it in development of educational softwares and platforms.
